Back in 1974 at the age of 20 my niece Rubia recommended me, Dennis Dare, to read the Holy Bible. I went home and started reading the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the New Testament.

I was amazed by this awesome love demonstrated by Jesus, the Son of the living God, who lived a pure life of: giving bread and fish to the needy, healing the sick, setting the demon-oppressed free, and …

Above all, paying the full price with His Holy Blood at the Cross in your and my place to bring eternal salvation, IF we accept His gift.

A few weeks later my niece led me to Christ: I confessed/renounced my sins and received Christ Jesus in my heart and life, thanking God for His forgiveness. By grace I was born again in a personal relationship with my heavenly Father.

My faith was and is not in a church leader, or in a denomination, or in a religion, but in the Living Christ Jesus, who says,

“I am The Way, The Truth and The Life, no one comes to the Father, except through Me.” [John 14:6]

Now 50+ years later my desire to share about Jesus, the Living God, has not changed. During the past years, I have personally witnessed among other things:

student healed from a malignant tumor in the Netherlands;
blind man received sight in Suriname;
one man with persistent phobia simply read the Gospel of John multiple times and was completely set free;
many others set free from evil spirits in the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ;
but most importantly many lives transformed through faith in Christ Jesus!

Furthermore, many things that were once foretold in the Scriptures have increasingly come to pass; certainly, time is short!

“... it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.”

[Hebrews 9:27]

Please, do not enter eternity without Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord!

Once I had done this, I felt a Divine urge to add a highly important Bible study on: The End Times-Great Tribulation !!

About us

Born less than 2 weeks prior to Hurricane Hazel that caused deaths in Haiti, Canada and in the USA of between 595 and 1,195 persons on October 5, 1954.

From an early age thoughts went through my mind such as, why would not every one go to heaven. My Dad was a Protestant who did not go to church, while my Mom was a devote Catholic, we regularly went to church.

It was only when I went to study development (macro) economics in Holland at age 20 that I had a personal experience with our Lord Jesus in 1974. This is what Jesus calls to be spiritually born again, when He answered Nicodemus, "Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again (from above), he cannot see the kingdom of God.” [John 3:3]

Convinced that I needed to finish my studies, I persevered until I got my Masters Degree. During that time together with my niece Rubia, we went to a Bible-believing church in Amsterdam. Evangelist Karel Hoekendijk once visited the church and elaborated on Acts 1:8 about the Holy Spirit, who has anointed us with power and gave us authority over the enemy. I also listened to Reverend R.W. Shambach's powerful messages on healing the sick.

So when a student came to me to ask for prayer as she had a cancerous tumor, I rebuked the cancer and commanded it to die and leave her body. A few weeks later she shared with me the good news that she was completely free from cancer.

During those years, I could not get enough of God's Word, I would literally almost eat the Scriptures in His Presence.

After 3 years, my niece and I, decided to go to another Bible-believing congregation this time situated in Rotterdam. Every week there were healing and deliverance services. Many came from all over the Netherlands to receive their deliverance and restoration from all kinds of diseases and addictions. Evil spirits were cast out in Jesus' Almighty Name and numerous were set free.

Apart from Rotterdam, we also had church in Amsterdam and Eindhoven. After some time I was allowed to preach. We also went out to evangelize in Amsterdam. In the last two years of my study, I was in charge of the church service in Eindhoven.

One day in Eindhoven a Dutch man was robbed in a bar in the same street and he thought the robber must have been one of us, the only colored people in the neighborhood, so he came to our place with a knife in his hand. Before he could do anything, a policeman caught his hand from behind and arrested him. Thank God for His protection.

After my graduation a few years later, I was asked to go to Saramacca in Suriname, to oversee an orphanage. Our dear brother and pastor Simons held church meetings in Paramaribo. Many miracles were witnessed, a blind man received his sight after the pastor prayed for him in Jesus' Name. He could go home alone, walking and clearly seeing again.

By God's grace I held church in Saramacca. One Muslim girl came to Christ Jesus, but afterwards had to flee from her Dad, who wanted to kill her. What a pity that not everyone understands that God sent His only begotten Son Jesus out of His amazing love for each one of us.

After some time I returned to Curaçao joined a church and after some time fell in love with my wife. We married and have two daughters. During this period we preached, held counseling sessions, taught Bible Study for Beginners for which I also wrote a study book.

At my day job I had the privilege to have many interactions with government, employers and employees. And even for many years taught at universities both in Curaçao and the Netherlands where I met wonderful international students. One day in Rotterdam, one class asked me what my secret was. I then had the privilege to explain that my joy came from personally knowing and walking with Christ Jesus. All Glory to our Lord Jesus, the Son of the Living God !!

There is so much more to tell, but in this context, I am convinced that through careful study of this Bible Study you will have a closer walk with our Lord Jesus and become stronger and stronger each day in the Lord. In the end, it is all about being obedient and faithful to the One and Only Who by grace has saved my and your soul, if we earnestly accept His Gift.
